Let the abstract landscape-inspired glazing on this handbuilt stoneware vase inspire your daydreams. It is tall enough for lofty blooms (fresh or dried) and bold enough to hold its own between uses.

Combining traditional stoneware ceramic techniques and painterly decoration, it's a unique item with understated character. Don’t tell the others, but this might just be our favourite tall vase in this collection.

Colour: Glossy chalk white gently transitions into deep dark blues, with a band of periwinkle and indigo flecks in between. This loose, landscape-inspired design is ready for you to interpret; maybe you see mountains under a wintery sky, or an aurora peeking above the horizon! High temperature firing accentuates the playfulness of the glaze materials, creating a beautiful variety of tones and textures across the surface.

Shape: Made slowly by hand using handbuilding and slab building techniques, its tall walls taper slightly at the top to draw the eye to any flowers it holds. The small unglazed foot and flat base enhance its earthy, organic aesthetic.

Use: Pair with dried flowers and grasses (like our BOHO bouquet, EMBER bouquet or some bunny tails) to bring out its colour and form. The interior is fully glazed in chalk white, so it's safe for use with fresh or dried bouquets.

Dimensions: Height: 12cm | Width: 6.5cm | Opening: 4cm (approx.)

Notes: Unique item | dust with a damp cloth | water safe

NB: Photos show vase with sprig of dried yellow achillea (not included with purchase of this item). You can order similar dried flowers from us.
