MINI ICY SHORE handmade bud vase | blue, brown, grey, stoneware | UNIQUE

This is the dinky little brother of one of our other handbuilt stoneware bud vases, both inspired by the colours and textures of the ocean and the land. Shorter than our standard vases, our bud vases are the perfect size for small bunches of dried flowers, showing off your nature-walk finds or even storing a few pens and pencils in.

Combining traditional stoneware ceramic techniques and painterly decoration, this is a unique item with understated character.

Colour: A glossy, sea-like ice blue lip trickles down over a matt, mottled tawny brown-grey glaze. High temperature firing accentuates the playfulness of the glaze materials, creating a beautiful variety of tones and textures across the surface.

Shape: Made slowly by hand using handbuilding and slab building techniques, this bud vase has straight walls and a wide opening. As well as holding dried or fresh flowers, it can easily double as a stylish pen pot or toothbrush holder. The small unglazed foot and flat base enhance its earthy, organic aesthetic.

Use: Pair with dried flowers and grasses (like our BOHO bouquet or some bunny tails) to bring out its colour and form. The interior is fully glazed, so it's safe for use with fresh or dried bouquets.
